Varieties: 100% Tinta de Toro

Production: Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with 100% destemmed grapes, with 3 daily pumping overs, at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C for 12-15 days with subsequent de-racking and allowing to settle before filling the barrels.

Barrel aging time: 8 to 12 months with racking every 3 months.

Ageing time in bottle: Minimum 6 months before being marketed. Stored on metal sleepers in an insulated warehouse where the temperature does not exceed 18 °C.

Barrel type: 95% American oak 5% French oak

Alcohol content: 14% – 14.5% Vol.

Tasting notes

Ruby red colour, well covered, clean and bright.
Aroma Complex and elegant with aromas of ageing in good wood, with balsamic tones and a clear fruity background.
Palate Very well made and vigorous with great character, tasty, broad, with perfectly combined tannic tone and long persistence. Complex and fine sensations of ageing in the retronasal passage.
Serving temperature 16º – 18 °C
Recommended Roasted meats and cured cheeses.
